Concept, layout, cover design
I have been collaborating with musician Don Philippe (Philippe A. Kayser) since 2018 by conceptualising and creating vinyl record covers. I worked with image and poetry and used my own photography to create a crossover between music, photo and text. The way hiphop musicians sample other music, I sampled words and lines from poetry for the song titles.
Concrete poetry edited by Haroldo and Agosto de Campos, Octavio Paz’ poetry, The book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa were my major choices.
